This NEW “budget” friendly option foregoes the locking/sealed 2 pin connector on the other models for a standard 12V car socket style. No adapters needed.
The harness kit allows you to adapt the existing Ford Ranger aux power socket (located on the rear driver's side frame) to a power source in the bed. The OEM option for this truck requires cutting holes into the bed to install. THIS OPTION DOES NOT REQUIRE CUTTING!
Includes the bed-install plate, harness connection wire, and choice of plate size and color..
Main harness and Cig/Marine Socket is 14AWG Rated 20 Amps @ 12V DC.
The “budget” option uses a standard 12V car style socket, and is not locking/sealed like the other kits.
Compatible with 2019 and newer Ford Rangers.
Available with the SPLIT option. This adds a pigtail to the harness to feed lighting or other hardwired items.
Adapter plate available in black or orange.
NOT Compatible with Molle Panels or alternative mounting (due to depth).
Using an existing hole on the driver's side of the bed, I've made an adapter and harness that fits perfectly and meets the OEM harness standards. No cutting or modifying the bed required. Works with most spray-on bed liners.
